A suit for damages to the extent of $38,810 was filed in Ottawa county Oklahoma district court at Miami late yesterday afternoon by the parents of John P. Creech, 25 year old Picher Oklahoma man, who died last April from the results of injuries alleged to have been received at the Jeff City Mine about a quarter of a mile east of Picher Oklahoma, against the owners of the Jeff City Mine.
