Picher Oklahoma, Feb. 2--The body of William Edward Crawford, 32 years old, who died at a local hospital last night as the result of injuries suffered late yesterday afternoon, at the Anna Beaver Mine No. 11 shaft by a premature explosion. The body was sent to Poplar Bluff, Missouri, tonight for burial.

Crawford, who was employed as a machine man, was engaged in loading of a round of shots at the time of the accident. He is survived by a brother, J. H. Crawford, of Cardin. While working in mines Crawford made his home in Cardin Oklahoma.

Picher Oklahoma, Feb 2. William Edward Crawford, 32 years old, of Poplar Bluff Missouri, died at a Picher hospital shortly before 12 o'clock last night as the result of injuries received late yesterday afternoon at the Anna Beaver Mine No. 11 shaft in a premature explosion. Crawford, who was employed as a machine man, was engaged in loading a round of shots at the time of the accident. Crawford was unmarried and while working in the mines made his home in Cardin Oklahoma. He is survived by one brother, J. H. Crawford of Cardin. The body will be taken to Poplar Bluff by the Todd undertaking company, of Picher, tonight for burial.
