Little Joseph Crawford, 10 years old son of Mrs. W. M. Searles, whose head was crushed when the boy became wedged between two sump cars at the Skelton Mine, a hard rock lead and zinc mine, at Century Oklahoma last Thursday, died Sunday morning, Feb 6, 1921, at the Miami Baptist hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Searles, who were in Texas looking for a location when the accident occurred arrived here Saturday. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock and burial was near Neosho Missouri the unfortunate boy was playing with other children at the Skelton Mine when he suffered the fatal injury.
