Adrian Couthron, 33, was killed and his helper, Warren Fain, slightly injured when a slab fell this morning at the West Side Mine shaft north of Picher. Couthron, head and shoulders injured by the falling rocks, apparently was instantly killed. He was a resident of Narcissa Oklahoma. Fain, whose address was not learned immediately, received cuts around his head and shoulders. The accident occurred about 8 am. Funeral arrangements for Couthron will be announced by the Durnil funeral home of Picher Oklahoma.
