A Quapaw Oklahoma miner, Charles Ervin Bridgman, was pronounced dead at Picher hospital at Picher Oklahoma, this morning shortly after suffering a heart attack at the Admiralty Mine No. 3. He was 62 years old.

Previously a farmer near Independence Kansas, for several years, Bridgman had lived at Quapaw one year. He is survived by his wife, Maggie Bridgman; a sister, Grace Mickeral of Independence, and several nieces and nephews.

The body was received by the Thomas funeral home, Picher.

Funeral services for Charles Ervin Bridgman, 62 year old miner who died of a heart attack at a mine near Douthat Oklahoma Wednesday, were to be held in the Potts chapel at Independence Kansas, at 3 pm today.

Burial was to be in the Independence cemetery. The body was taken from Picher to Independence in a Thomas funeral home ambulance.
