Picher Oklahoma, Sep 2.--Funeral services for William H. Blalock, 36, who was fatally injured Friday afternoon when struck by a falling slab at the Pioneer Mine, will be held Monday afternoon at his home, 603 North Netta street, Picher. The Rev. Nichols will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Hope cemetery [Note: location of cemetery, not given]. Blalock was shoveler. He had worked in the hard rock lead and zinc mines of this district five years. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Harriet Blalock, 603 North Netta street, and two sisters, Mrs. Harriet Phelps and Miss Martha Blalock, both of Picher.
