Picher Oklahoma, April 22. William Albert Atkins, 33 years old, of Lowell Kansas, died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon as a result of injuries received Tuesday night at Picher when struck upon his head by a boulder falling down the shaft. He was married, and besides his wife, Mrs. Jane Atkins, is survived by two step-children and his mother, Mrs. Della Atkins. Funeral services will be held at the chapel of the Todd undertaking company, Picher, at 2 Sunday afternoon with the Rev. D. W. Breshear officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest cemetery at Galena Kansas.
Picher Oklahoma, April 24 Funeral services for William Gilbert Atkins of Lowell Kansas, who died at a local hospital Wednesday as the result of injuries received at a hard rock lead and zinc mine, will be held at the chapel of the Todd undertaking company of Picher, at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. D. W. Brashear will officiate. Burial will be in the Hillcrest cemetery at Galena Kansas.
Picher Oklahoma, April 26 The funeral of William Gilbert Atkins, 33 years old, of Lowell Kansas, who died Wednesday as the result of injuries received in a mine accident, was held from the chapel of the Todd undertaking company of Picher at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The Rev. D. W. Brashear, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiated and burial was in the Hillcrest cemetery at Galena Kansas.
