Mine shaft No. 8 near Commerce

William Asher, a young man 22 years old, was fatally injured in a mine accident at shaft No. 8, near Commerce Oklahoma last Saturday. His injuries were so severe that he died Sunday. The deceased leaves a wife and one babe. The remains were interred in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami. The young man's uncle Rev. Bay, preached the sermon Monday.
