In newspaper the name is as: C. F. Andrews, a hard rock lead and zinc miner. Mrs. Andrews, was instantly killed when he stumbled into a mine shaft and fell 200 feet Saturday morning at the Emma Gordon Mine, near Commerce Oklahoma. The shaft had been abandoned and covered over with boards. He was missing only a short time when his mangled body was found. Andrews was about 30 years old and came to Commerce from Pittsburg Kansas. He has relatives living here. The body is being held at the Mitchelson undertaking parlors, at Commerce. Note: burial in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kansas.
