Picher Okla. Aug 6 - Funeral arrangements are incomplete for S. D. Adams, 40 years old, 205 North Gladys street, Picher, who met almost instant death at 10:30 this morning at the Hartley- Grantham Mine of the Century Zinc Company, northeast of Picher, when caught beneath a mass of falling dirt. Adams was employed as a hard rock lead and zinc shoveler.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. May Adams; four small children; his mother, Mrs. Laura Adams, who made her home with the son; a sister, Mrs. Frankie Johnson of Picher, and several other sisters and brothers.
