age 36 years died Tuesday evening at the St. John's hospital at Joplin Missouri, death being due to typhoid fever. Mr. Cantrell had been taken to the hospital just a week prior to his death, having been ill a few days previously. From the fact that we go to press Thursday afternoon, exact particulars regarding time of funeral cannot be given. It being expected that the funeral would be at four o'clock Thursday afternoon, provided a brother and sister could arrive here from Fonda Iowa. Rev. A. L. Jones was to deliver the funeral discourse. Deceased came to Miami about twelve to fourteen years ago, coming from his parents' home four and one half miles northeast of here. He was an industrious young man well-liked by all and leaves a wife and two children. He is survived by a father and mother, and the following brothers and sisters; Henry Cantrell of Miami. Charles Cantrell and Otto Cantrell of Commerce Oklahoma, Mrs. Mattie Campbell of Commerce, J. L. Cantrell of Des Moines Iowa and C. O. Cantrell and Mrs. Ella Seal of Fonda Iowa.
