Stanfield, Robert W. Sr.

age 76, of Miami, died Aug 18, 1996, at Miami hospital of injuries he suffered in a traffic accident east of Quapaw Oklahoma. Born Jun 24, 1920, at Windsor Missouri. A World War II veteran and received a Purple Heart. He was a survivor of the Leopoldville, a troop ship that sank in the English Channel while en route to the Battle of the Bulge. Cooper-Althouse funeral house, Miami. Burial in the Park cemetery, Carthage Missouri.
