of Cardin Oklahoma, died May 2, 1997 at Miami hospital, age 72. Born Mar 8, 1925 at Leach. An Army veteran of World War II. Burial at Greenlawn cemetery in Cherokee county Kansas, northwest of Picher Oklahoma. Note: G.A.R. cemetery records, Miami, indicate he was buried in that cemetery instead of Greenlawn.
