Brown, Claude Wesley

age 70, of Picher Oklahoma, died Aug 17, 1996. Born Mar 10, 1926, at Treece Kansas. He had worked as a hard rock lead and zinc miner in the Picher area and later served as chief of police in Metaline Falls Washington. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Married Maxine Smith on Dec 2, 1976, at Bentonville Arkansas, she survives. Derfelt's funeral home, Baxter Springs Kansas. Burial in Greenlawn cemetery in Kansas, northwest of Picher and Treece Kansas.
