The young man injured in the mine accident at Picher Oklahoma on Monday was identified yesterday by Mr and Mrs. L. A. Widener of Joplin Missouri as their son, Lewis Widener. His condition was still critical today. He has been unconscious for more than 48 hours. Lewis Widener, age 29, died Picher in a mine accident near Picher on Nov 11, 1919. Buried Joplin Missouri.
