died. A World War I veteran. A private with the Oklahoma, 27 Engr. Enlisted Jul 11, 1918 at Joplin Missouri. He took a part in the Meuse Argonne offensive from Oct 22th until Nov 11th, when the armistice was declared. He was also in the St. Mihiel offensive. Discharged Apr 4, 1919. Disabled from the effects of being gassed. Brother Frank McBee was killed in the Spanish-American War.
