Harold Haley, 12 years old, fell to the bottom of the east field shaft at the Vinegar Hill Barr Mine at Picher Oklahoma about 11:30 o'clock Tuesday night and was instantly killed. Note: See Hard Rock Mining Fatalities book by S. Mahurin. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
