Dodson, Otis

aged 17, was almost instantly killed in the shaft at the Vinegar Hill Wilson Mine, two miles north of Commerce Oklahoma, while descending in the 'can' late Tuesday afternoon. Note: Mr. Dodson was killed in a lead and zinc mining accident. See book, Hard Rock Mining Fatalities by S. Mahurin.
