an employee of the Disney Mine in Kansas, had both arms and his chest badly injured by a premature powder explosion the mines Monday night. He was taken to the Picher Oklahoma hospital by the Todd ambulance, where is was stated that his injuries are such that it will be some time before he will be able to return to work. Note: Accident report has: Chew, Harry of Picher Oklahoma was injured on 10-11-1920, age 32, at the Producers Hopkins Company, both hands and right leg were squibbed. [Heading holes are shot without "pocketing" or "squibbing," but splitters, which are intermediate bench holes, and stope or bottom holes, are usually "squibbed" or "pocketed" and heavily loaded with powder, see book on mining terms by S.
