Note: See Elbert Charboneau, also. Pvt Charboneau, of Picher Oklahoma, who died of wounds on Jul 22, 1918, received in action in the Chateau Thierry fighting Jul 16, 1918, will be brought to Picher this month bor burial. He enlissed in the Army at the Joplin Missouri recruiting station and was 18 years old. World War I, period. His mother, Mrs. Charboneau, died two weeks ageo and was buried in a cemetery near Webb City. He was sent overseas with the 30th Infantry. The Charboneau family moved to Picher from Webb City Missouri.
