a miner charged with assault in an attempt to rape, was given 30 days and fined $100 in district court at Miami last week. York was charged with grabbing Mrs. Helen Koontz on her way to her home at midnight on the night of Sep 16, form the Plaza Theatre, Picher, where she was employed. He was accused of dragging her to a chat pile and mistreating the defendant.
