a photo in uniform. Pvt White, better known as 'Doc' White, died on Mar 22, 1945, from wounds received on Mar 17, 1945. Until he entered the armed services he had resided in and around Woodward Oklahoma since 1935. Doc was graduated from Picher High School in 1931. His wife, the former Geraldine Lightfoot, and children have made their home with Dos's parents. Survived by his wife Jerry White, three daughters, Barbara White, Darlene White and Bette White; his parents, Mrs. And Mrs. George F. White, all of Woodward and one sister, Mrs. Everett Mouriquand, at 638 Oneida street, Picher.
