Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Tharp became the owners and operators of the R. And L. Cleaning plant and opened for business on Monday morning. Fred MacKnight and wife have been running the cleaning plant for the past year. The Tharp Grocery, located at 200 South Netta street was purchased by Earl Duff, who has secured the services of Mrs. Ursel Anderson and Mrs. Elmer Conner to run his new story. Mr. Duff also has a big grocery store on Main street at Third streets, Picher Oklahoma. Mr. and Mrs. MacKnight's present plans are not known.
