Stone, Norman E.

Staff Sergeant Stone, 24 years old, was killed in action in Germany on Dec 16, 1944, according to information received by Mr. and Mrs. Bill McGinnis of near Treece Kansas. Stone made his home with them being a nephew, before entering military duty. He had been overseas since Oct 15, 1944. He enlisted four years ago in the Field Artillery and received his basic training at Fort Sill. He was a graduate of Treece High school was employed on his uncle's dairy farm.
