age 59, former manager of the Shawnee Lakes Fishing Resort near Quapaw Oklahoma was fatally injured at 3:30 Thursday afternoon when he was stuck by a truck near his home one mile north of Miami as he stood beside the road near his mail box. The accident occurred on US Highway 66 near the office of the Spartan School. A man by the name of Snyder of Springfield Ohio was driving the truck and was said to have swerved to the side of the road as he attempted to pass another truck. County Attorney Richard Smith filed a charge of reckless driving against Snyder late Friday afternoon and he pled guilty when arraigned before Judge John H. Venable and was fined $50 and costs.
