a farewell party was given last Thursday ight at the home of Naomi Smith, for Dan Smith, who will leave soon to make his home in Joplin Missouri. The party was given by the Intermediate class of the First Baptist church. Those present were Patty Potter, Betty Mallett, Norma Sue McGehee, Johnnie Dell Durnil, Billie Ballard, Betty Horine, Naomi Smith, Don Coble, Neville Carder, Bob Layton, Don Kilbro, Billy Hawes, Dick Hunt, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Smith, Melba Smith and Mrs. Duff Coble.
