Shuck, Leroy

of Picher Oklahoma, ran off the bridge north of Commerce Oklahoma into a water filled ditch and turned over last Saturday night. Shuck, accompanied by Alfred Rupe and Raymond Ward had gone after a car that had run out of gas and were pulling the car in. Because of the rains the bridge was covered with water so that the boys were unable to see the edge of the bridge. Rupe is reported to have kicked out one of the windows and pulled the other to safety.
