age 15, was arrested Monday night for investigating in connection with the fatal shooting of her grandfather, Dock Frank Scott, 70 at the girl's home. The family lives three miles northeast of the Devil's Promenade bridges. According to a story related by the girl, Scott attempted to molest her in her home, and she shot him in the head with a 12-gauge single barrel shotgun. He is believed to have died instantly. She fled to a neighbor and asked that county officials be noticed. Instead, the neighbors called the girl's father Fred Scott, who is employed at the Beck Mine, near Lincolnville Oklahoma. Officers were not advised of the shooting until Monday night. The girl was quoted as saying that her grandfather had molested her before and that he renewed his advances Monday afternoon. Scott's body as removed to the Durnil funeral home, Picher Oklahoma.
