Richardson, William L.

Private Richardson, 20 year old paratrooper, was killed in action in Belgium on Jan 12, according to information received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Richardson, now residing in Miami. He attended the Picher schools and entered the service in March of 1943. He had been overseas since March 1944. He is also survived by three brothers, Sergeant Winford D. Richardson, stationed at Miami Beach Florida; Sergeant Lloyd D. Richard, at Shepard Field Texas and Private First Class Freddie M. Richardson, who is stationed in England.

Private Richardson, age 21, died Belgium; born 22 Feb 1924 Parsons Kansas; died 12 Jan 1946 Belgium; father Jess Richardson, Picher; re-buried 1948 at G.A.R. cemetery at Miami. Note: age differences.
