Mr. and Mrs. Fred Richardson and 4 year old daughter of Cardin Oklahoma were burned Saturday morning by an explosion caused when a can of kerosene was poured on a kitchen fire. Their home was also damaged by the blaze to an estimate of between five and six hundred dollars. Mr. Richardson the most severely burned suffered injuries to his face and hands. Mrs. Richardson suffered burns to her hand as she rescued three of her four children, who escaped injuries. The 4 year old daughter also was burned about the hands. The injured were brought to the Picher hospital, Picher, for treatment.
