veteran of World War I, died Sep 6, 1944 at 404 South Main street, Picher. He had been in ill health for some time and until recently had been a patient in the Muskogee Oklahoma Veterans' hospital. Survived by his widow, Mrs. Hazel Powers of Alderson West Virginia, and two sisters, Mrs. F. A. Perkins of Fairview Oklahoma and Mrs. Ruth Bardow of St. Louis. Burial in the Fairview cemetery. Durnil funeral home, Picher.
