Abstract Data

35 years old, residing near Miami, was instantly killed about 11:20 last Thursday morning while working on a power line of the Eagle-Picher Mining and Smelting Company, west of Cardin Oklahoma. He was working on a pole and in some manner came in contact with a high voltage wire, the exact cause not being known, but examination showed that both of this hands had made a contact. One finer was burned off of one of his hands and the other had been seared across the palm. Due to workers near by, little time was used in getting him off of the pole, as his weight had broken the contact. A physician was called and not until two and a half hours later was efforts given up to revive him. Durnil funeral home. Burial in the G.A.R. cemetery.
