Payton, Lee

a former principal in the Picher High School will have the sympathy of his many friends in Picher in the death of his father George Payton of Miami, who died Thursday, May 10, 1945, at his home 10 miles south of Miami. The deceased was well known all over the county as he had served as sheriff from 1931 and 1932 and also as county commissioner of the county. Burial place not given.
