a 40 year old miner who had lived with his family in Picher for about 10 years, died Monday Jul 9, 1945, at his home, 638 South Ottawa street, Picher, after a lingering illness of some duration. Mr. Osborn moved to Commerce Oklahoma from Wagner Missouri when he was a child and attended the Commerce schools, graduating from high school in 1925. He married the former Nola Keithley in 1933, she survives. He is also survived by two children, William E. Osborn and Katherine Joan Osborn, both of the home; his mother, Mrs. W. D. Barnett of Commerce and three sisters, Mrs. Ervin Morrison of Galena Kansas, Mrs. Helen Bayless and Mrs. Bessie Myers of San Jose California. Durnil funeral home, Picher. Pallbearers were Harold Jones, Pete Russell, Paul Oberlee, Bill Petitte, June Walker and Paul Douthitt. Burial in the G.A.R. cemetery Miami.
