a 35 year old miner was found dead last Wednesday morning, Aug 15, 1945 at his home 109 West B street. It is presumed death was caused by a heart attack. He was survived by his widow, Mrs. Isla North, a son, Raymond Joe North; two daughters Nadine North and Betty North, all of the home; another daughter Mrs. Imogene Wilson of Picher; his mother Mrs. Minnie North of Picher and three brothers, Willie North of Chetopa Kansas; Cecil North of Zincville Oklahoma and Joe North serving with the army; three sisters, Mrs. Allie Sanders of Bell California, Mrs. Marie Tomlinson of Vadar Washing and Mrs. Lena Swayze of Baxter Springs Kansas. Durnil funeral home, Picher. Burial in the Fairview cemetery in Melrose Kansas.
