M-M Second Class Nichols, of Picher, married Maxine Stanley of Treece Kansas, on Friday afternoon at 5 pm. Married by Rev. W. H. Hawes. The young couple are living at 311 South Alta street, Picher. Nichols is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Nichols and Stanley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Stanley.

a post-nuptial shower was held last Thursday afternoon. Present were: Mrs. Effie Cunningham and Mrs. L. Z. Halverton of Treece Kansas and Mrs. Earl Nichols and Mrs. Wanda Nichols of Picher, Rev. Mrs. Annabelle Craig, Mrs. C. E. Nichols, Mrs Burr Aton and Mrs. Louise Curlee.
