Mr. and Mrs. Warren McGehee received word that their niece, Miss Myers of Sunnyside California had suffered minor injuries in a motor car accident which occurred on Decoration Day. Nine students were involved in the crash, three being killed instantly. Miss Myers attended the Whitebird School and Junior High School in Picher for seven years before going to California with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. June Cooper, who resided at 312 Trails End while in Picher.
