Mitchell, Ben F.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mitchell of Douthat Oklahoma have received word from their son Pfc. Mitchell of an Army tank destroyer unit that he is in an England hospital recovering from multiple leg and arm wound received Dec 1, 1944, in Germany. On Dec 27, 1944, they received word from the War Department that Mitchell had been seriously wounded but no details were given. Mitchell has a wife and two sons living in Douthat. He had been in France in September and then served in Holland and in Belgium and his last station in Germany.
