McBride, Mrs. Dorothy

of Treece Kansas, but formerly a resident of Picher, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Alice Montgomery at Pacific Grove California, was married to Captain William Beery of the merchant marines last month in Pacific grove. Witnessing the ceremony were Mrs. Montgomery and the bride's brother, Eddie Stewart and Mrs. Stewart. The bride is a niece of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Beaver of Picher. Capt. Beery, who has been with the Marines for the past 18 years, has a year's leave of absence and the couple plan to reside in San Francisco for the present. He is a brother of the movie actor, Wallace Beery.
