driver of the car which struck and fatally injured William Green, 65, Tuesday night on South Connell ave, Picher Oklahoma, was exonerated. The accident was held unavailable according to officials. Ones said he had turned off Fourth street and was driving south on Connell when he was Green. He drove his car off the pavement in an effort to avoid hitting the man, he said. Green died 45 minutes after the accident as a result of a fractured skull with concussion and an intra-cranial hemorrhage. Green was born and reared in southeast Missouri and came to Picher in 1922.
