50 year old Picher miner, died at the Picher hospital, Picher on Friday afternoon, following an illness of several weeks. He had been a miner in the district for a number of years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Jones, 100 North Mabel street, Picher; three daughters, Patsy Sue Jones, of the home, Mrs. Gladys Brown, Los Angeles California and Mrs. Irene Clemens of Austin Texas; three brothers, Frank Jones, Pittsburg Kansas, William Jones, Detroit Michigan and Jim Jones of Picher; and four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Buchanan and Mrs. Carrie Crawford of Detroit, Mrs. Della Bacon, Gainesville Texas and Mrs. Myrtle Warden of Joplin Missouri. Services on Wednesday at the Union church of Picher. Burial in the Ozark Memorial hospital at Joplin.
