41 year old miner suffered a broken left leg Thursday morning when it became entangled in an underground incline hoist cable at the old Federal Jarrett Mine, three miles northwest of Treece. John was taken to the Miami Oklahoma hospital in a Durnil ambulance. He home is in Treece.
