200 South Ella street, was hostess at a charivari and post-nuptial shower at her home Tuesday night honoring Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sigle, who were married Mar 17 at Columbus Kansas. The bride formerly was Miss Helen Johnson, daughter of Mrs. F. Johnson, North Gladys street, and was graduated with the'39 class of Picher high school. Mr. and Mrs. Sigle announced their wedding Tuesday night, May 23. The charivari included a trip through the business section of Picher in a small wagon with the bride and groom alternately pulling each other. After returning to the Jennings home, the group enjoyed the evening playing pinochle, play safe, monopoly, Chinese checkers and auto race. The honorees then opened and inspected their many gifts, after which refreshments were served and the newly weds treated the guests. Those enjoying the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Inman, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ballard, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Jennings, Miss Helen Forshee, Miss Mary Skaggs, Miss Maryon Galyon, Miss Helen Comba,Mrs.Harold Moore, Miss Ruth Hall, Chester Wells, C. M.Trease,Ralph Anderson, Harvey Wells, Hugh Turner, Carl Johnson, Mrs. F. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sigle and the hostess, Miss Jennings. Those sending fits were Mr. and Mrs. Lilburn Trease and Wendall Miller.
