reported Tuesday that his bond as a Justice of the Peace, had been approved at the regular meeting of the county commissioners at Miami on Monday. Mr. Jennings was appointed recently as the new J. P. Taking the place of Mayor Lawrence Voyles, who had served in that capacity in Picher for a number of years. Mr. Jennings said that he will use Mr. Voyles's office on Third street, Picher as his headquarters until he can find an office location.

Bill Edwards, who has been working in Miami as dog catcher and poll tax collector, has resigned that job and returned to Picher, where he has received the appointment as Justice of the Peace, taking the office that was formerly held by Homer Jennings, who has resigned. Ex-mayor Edwards is look for folks wishing to get married.
