Hogan, Joe N.

Mary Joe Speaker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Speaker of Commerce Oklahoma and the eldest granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Jennings of Picher Oklahoma, became the bride of Lieut. Joe N. Hogan, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hogan, Muskogee Oklahoma on Aug 23, 1945. The ceremony was performed at Oswego Kansas. The couple attended Northeastern State College at Tahlequah Oklahoma. Mrs. Hogan has been employed in civilservice at the Miami Spartan school for the past two years. Lieutenant Hogan, a Naval fighter pilot, recent returned from serving two assignments in the South Pacific aboard an aircraft carrier as a fighter pilot. He was overseas 16 months. The couple will report to Norfolk Virginia for reassignment.
