Hand, Earl
Abstract Data
was severely injured when attacked by a bulldog at the Lon Bone home on South Frisco street, Picher Oklahoma on Friday evening. He was rushed to the American hospital in a car by Dick Kinmonth and examination showed that his left leg had been almost entirely chewed with the calf muscles hanging in shreds. Hand said he had been transacting some business with Bone and when he started to leave he was attached. Bone tried to get the log loose, but it continued to chew and make new grabs at Hand's let before he was dragged off. Attending physicians reported that regardless of everything else that Mr. Hand would be crippled in the injured leg owning to the severity of the injuries. Hand, with E. K. George, operates the Swap Shop, 66 North Main, and is well-known over the district.
