Green, William

age 65, was fatally injured when struck by a car driven by Randal Jones on South Connell avenue, Picher Oklahoma. Jones was exonerated in the Memorial Day accident. He was born and reared in southeast Missouri and came to Picher in 1922. Green died 45 minutes after the accident as a result of a fractured skull with concussion and an intra-cranial hemorrhage. He had been taken to the hospital in a Durnil ambulance, Picher. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami.
