Fisher, Mrs. Jack

of 421 East C. Street was appointed city clerk at a special meeting of the council held last Wednesday night. Mrs. Fisher assumed her duties Monday, filling the unexpired term of Mrs. Patsy Hazel Laramore, who resigned in September. Mrs. Ireba Farley Edwards was first appointed to fill the vacancy, but is in California with her husband who is a serviceman.
