Elston, Charles T.

Wood has been received by Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Leffler from a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth McIntyre, that her son, Private Fist Class Elston, 221 years old, is missing in action in France. Pvt. Elston lived with his mother in Picher several years ago. He enlisted for service before Pearl Harbor and has been overseas since mid-summer of 1944. Mrs. Leffler and another daughter, Mrs. Harold McLain, left Friday for Galesburg Illinois, where Mrs. McIntyre now resides.
