returned to Picher Friday evening from McCleary hospital at Excelsior Springs Missouri, where he had been for about a month. He is improving but unable to work.

W. R. 'Bill' Ellison who has been living in the home on the Lone Star Ranch, one-quarter mile west of treece Kansas is moving to Baxter Springs Kansas, where he and his family will make their home for the present. The house on Lone Star ranch which was built by the late Avery Wilbur, is to be moved to Miami and the other buildings torn down and the ground is reported going to be used as a switch yard for a railroad. This property, a few years ago was one of the show places in southeast Kansas. When the late Mr. Wilbur lived there, he had a herd of buffaloes, deer and other animals in a park, as well as statutes of a long-horn steer, lions, etc.
